WWE head honcho Vince McMahon’s retirement is a day fans have long waited for. Like him or not, the man has changed the wrestling industry nearly killing it and saving it numerous times. From his time in the territories, the Attitude Era, Ruthless Aggression era, PG era, and more, Vince has been around for a lot in the industry.
At 77, time for me to retire.
Thank you, WWE Universe.
Then. Now. Forever. Together. #WWE #thankful— Vince McMahon (@VinceMcMahon) July 22, 2022
His retirement and history of late will likely not how he hoped for, though, as this retirement news comes a month after numerous news stories broke out for various types of misconduct. They involved payouts and NDA while he was in the CEO spot and on the board, amongst other allegations.
