If Wisconsin’s Vacant Voice’s aren’t a familiar name to you, they will be soon. A metalcore band that formed just last year, the band consists of members of To Trust A Liar and Eleventh Hour Onset, and that should give you a hint of the sound you’ll find here.
The band’s new single, “Roscoe’s Violent Dreams”, is a good harbinger of things to come from Vacant Voice. Balanced metalcore with a solid aggression // melody distribution, the band has lots of music in the pipeline later this year, including some particularly good features. In particular, the band’s vocal dynamics and technical proficiency stand out for the genre, so it’s clear they’re trying to do something slightly different in the genre. Sign us up!
