UNWELL walk a “Tightrope” on huge Seb Barlow-assisted debut single

In a crowded genre like pop-punk, it’s tough to stand out. Sometimes, prospective bands focus too much on the “pop” or the “punk” side of the genre to truly differentiate themselves from the pack. Luckily, newcomers UNWELL don’t seem to have that problem on their debut single, “Tightrope”. A lack of energy is not something the band suffers from – their high-energy instrumentals recall bands like Rise Against. However, the real treat comes when the vocals kick in. While an obvious pop influence is immediately there on “Tightrope”, it’s easy to tell that this is a band on the rise. Notably, the single was mixed and mastered by Neck Deep’s Seb Barlow, so you know it sounds fresh.
