UK post-hardcore band Acres have released a blazing new single “Medicine” alongside the announcement of new tour dates. “Medicine is a really important song to me,” says vocalist Ben Lumber. “I found myself surrounded by a lot of people who were suffering from really bad depression and anxiety and these people were the ones I love the most. It’s a devastating thing to see someone go through and, at times, you can feel helpless.” Writing the lyrics for ‘Medicine’ was a cathartic process for Lumber, who was striving to be of some solace to his loved ones.
Hailing from the South coast of the UK, Acres have spent the past year or so working on new music, as well as touring with the likes of Hellions. They released an EP ‘In Sickness & Health’ last year.
