Only emerging a couple years back with a debut single, UK deathcore band Severance have made some waves in the scene early on. They’ve released a handful of singles since then, with 2022 single “Cold Grave” actually hitting 26,000 plays on Spotify. That’s not a small number for a band that’s still establishing their direction.
The band’s new single, “Sentenced”, is out now – and it’s Elden Ring-themed, which is pretty neat. Premiered over on The Circle Pit, the song actually signals a coming sea change in the band’s sound as well, so while we don’t quite know what future music from the band might sound like, odds are it’ll be a compelling listen in any case.
