After a 4+ year hiatus, Chicago Down-Tempo/Groove pioneers ROOKS have released a brand new track titled “Countermeasure” on youtube & announced that they are currently working on a 3rd album titled Infinite III (Release Date TBA). Listen below!
ROOKS formed in 2009 and helped pioneer a new wave of ultra heavy & groovy down-tempo metal, along-side bands such as Demolisher, Monsters, Oceano & Endwell. They were one of the most well known bands of their style in the Chicago/mid-west area. It’s great to hear that they are back with a vengeance with new music planned & hopefully some tours as well.
