Embattled vocalist Tommy Vext has been ousted from supergroup Bad Wolves. It’s unclear if the vocalist parted ways with the band amicably, mutually, or because of tension, but the band is planning a 2021 album with a new vocalist (who hasn’t been revealed yet).
The former vocalist took to Instagram to talk to his fans about the departure, also urging his fans not to bully the band.
“I am grateful for your support & reassurance and it’s actually moved me to tears. But we don’t need to spread negativity to the other guys. We have very different political and spiritual beliefs but they are good human beings & the way I see it is we will have a healthy competition to create awesome music. So everyone wins.”, Vext wrote in a statement on his Instagram story.
While the band didn’t comment on exactly why they parted ways, it may well have something to do with Vext’s two-year restraining order from his ex-girlfriend Whitney Johns (the allegations of which he’s denied), his conservative political beliefs in support of Donald Trump’s failed re-election, taking shots at the Black Lives Matter movement, or other internal issues behind the scenes.
