With two previous full-lengths under their belt, Texas post-hardcore band Light The Fire are no strangers to success. Currently signed to Standby Records, the band has experienced marked success recently with their 2017 single “The Void”, which has racked up a staggering 900k+ Spotify streams. These are numbers you can’t ignore, but they’d be irrelevant if it weren’t for the quality of Light The Fire’s music.
Luckily, the band is revitalized with their newest single, “True North”. The newest single arrives as the first volley off a new record, due out later this year. We’re excited to be premiering the video for the track, which you can view below.
About the new track, vocalist Seth Davis has this to say, stating: “The song is about finding your purpose and where you fit in, and how that can be one of the most difficult aspects of life. There isn’t always a clear path to take, but there is a constant guide in direction. When feeling lost, we can look to the skies to guide our way. True North.”
