We’re excited to be premiering “Philosopher/Philanderer”, the new track from Washington-based hardcore garage punk band Snakes/Sermons. The song is off the band’s new 8-track album This Party Is Dead, out August 17th, and can be streamed below. About the new song, vocalist Ethan Kennedy says: “The first EP was all about fun and partying. By the time we started on This Party Is Dead, I was kinda burnout. The lyrics on this one are more about the hangover after the party. Harvey Jackson (Wretched Fuck) joined after Gutter and helped writing riffs with Rob (guitarist), and that infusion added a lot of energy. This album is a bit more angry. But there is also like Freeway, which is just kinda catchy rock n roll.”
