TNF Premiere: Post-hardcore newcomers Havoc Faction release new video for “Dark Passenger”

After a short, 2-song EP released last year in Prologue (which served as an introduction of sorts), Los Angeles-based rock newcomers Havoc Faction have released a 3-song EP, Welcome To The Fight. The EP, which you can stream in full below via Spotify, was just released on Friday – and if you’re into mid-2000’s alternative rock/post-hardcore as much as we are, you’ll LOVE this short but sweet EP.

Seriously, all 3 tracks have very obvious hooks in the choruses, but it’s “Dark Passenger” that really stands out as a song. It reminds us a lot of something you might find on an early Story Of The Year record, or possibly even mid-period Fightstar (probably Grand Unification). Basically sharp-edged post-hardcore with pop and rock sensibilities, which is a formula success as far as we’re concerned.
