Maryland electro-rock four-piece Crashing Atlas are really onto something. Led by an enigmatic frontwoman in Marina Heath, the exciting new band are making some serious moves as of late. In just a few short years, the band has already toured with Austin Winkler (former vocalist of Hinder), as well as carved out their own name with an EP and a handful of singles in their short time together. Now, the band is teaming up with us to premiere their new song, “The Light”.
Racking up an impressive 1.5 million+ streams on Spotify to date, as well as working with the likes of Taylor Larson and Spencer Sotelo (Periphery, Endur, Nik Mystery), Crashing Atlas are poised to become your new favorite band. Why, you ask? Their new single, “The Light”, is both catchy and accessible from a musical standpoint. Think a slightly different version of Palisades, or maybe even a little newer Emarosa influence? Your call, of course, but either way – the new single is awfully impressive.
