Ending the year with a strong send-off comes a metalcore group rising from the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Sonder Complex is a progressive metalcore band that conjures up an audibly beautiful atmosphere. The Sonder Complex pairs this projecting atmosphere with compelling instrumentation and songwriting fortified by vocals that punch in all the right ways. Still finding their footing in the midst of the pandemic, the group has returned in 2021 with two powerful singles. One of them being the previously released “Lighthouse: Loss” and now their brand new song titled “Corroded: Reflection”. The new song is The Sonder Complex at their strongest currently with a vibrant atmosphere, emotional lyrics and meaning. The new song “Corroded: Reflection” lyrically tackles struggles with depression and looking into the past when times may have been better, the song progresses lyrically to a message of better times to come and hope in the future.
