The Smashing Pumpkins to celebrate 30 years of “Siamese Dream” with Tower Records pop up store and rare performance in Highland Park, IL

The Smashing Pumpkins will be sending fans in waves with the news that the band will be doing something special for the 30th anniversary of “Siamese Dream”. At frontmans Billy Corgans coffee shop Madame Zuzu’s ,in Highland Park, Illinois, the band will recreate it to look like Tower Records for a pop up event.

Tower Records was infamous on July 27, 1993 when the band did a special performance at midnight to celebrate to the release of “Siamese Dream” and it drew an estimated 3,000 fans to where Chicago Police had to shut down the streets around the store due to the large crowd that had drawn.

Aside from recreating Tower Records the band will be appearing for 2 acoustic sets performing the setlist they did on that infamous night.
