This is one of those good news // bad news situations. The bad news: Protest The Hero drummer Mike Ieradi, who’s performed with the band since 2013, is leaving. Now the good news: the band is working on new music, and said music will still feature Ieradi’s final contributions with the band. Awesome.
Protest The Hero have released the official video for “Mist” off of their latest album, Volition.
Progressive metal comes naturally to a very few bands. You can hear it through the perfect flow of transitions and melodies. When a band is trying to be progressive it’s just as obvious through the terrible rhythms and clashing melodies. I, Omega is definitely a band of the former specifications.
