Hip hop-meets-hardcore crossover legends Suicide Kings return with new song “Lobster Claws”

Suicide Kings is a hip-hop group that doesn’t shy away from it’s unique backstory; as much a product of the hardcore world as they are a product of the hip-hop world, the kings are back with “Lobster Claws”, their first single and video in half a decade…and we’re stoked to be premiering it here on The New Fury!

Comprised of Detroit hardcore stalwart Joey Knuckles (HYDE, The Alliance) and Canadian rising star Cole “The God” Young (Trench, Gravemaker); the group formed in the back alley of a Terror show in early 2012 and has been releasing bangers ever since. With three albums of raw, lyrically driven hip hop under their belt and a history of sharing the stage with the likes of Mobb Deep, Vinnie Paz, Ill Bell, Inspecta Deck, The Demigdoz and more, their latest single kicks off a new era of the group which will lead up to the release of Ceremonia – a brand new full length album slated to debut early next year.

“Our new EP Ceremonia is Suicide Kings most unique effort to date. Lyrically and musically we travel to places that we had yet to explore with our previous albums, and the lead single “Lobster Claws” is a testament to that. Heavy leaning, emotive production provides the soundtrack for the rhymes of a rugged Detroit MC.”

Enjoy the world premiere of “Lobster Claws” (and its sick animated video) below and make sure to follow Suicide Kings on Spotify for more new music soon!
