Sucker Punch blend the old with the new on new single, “Trip McNeely”

If you don’t know Sucker Punch, you certainly will soon. While the band also shares a name with a powerful Dark-type Pokémon priority move, Sucker Punch brings together older influences from the scene (think: Taking Back Sunday and Thrice) and modern pop-punk and emo bands. It’s this blend of old and new that has made the band a hot name in the scene recently, proving that big hooks and good songwriting go a long way.
