Starset are “Infected” on surprise new single – listen

Big choruses driven by electronic flourishes and hard rock riffs. Tight song structures and bright melodies. That’s the name of the game for electronic rock band Starset, and really, it has been since the band’s 2014 debut album Transmissions made waves across the music scene. 2017 follow up Vessels certainly reinforced the band’s star quality, as while the band became a little more accessible to a mainstream audience, Starset’s sweeping electronic rock dramatics became more prevalent.

The band’s newest single, “Infected”, was released today with very little warning. It’s been a little over 2 years since the band released their third full-length Divisions, so while there’s no real timeline for a new full-length from the band, you can likely expect to hear news about that soon. Maybe. “Infected” will tide Starset fans – and fans of electronically-driven rock – nicely enough, though.
