Starset and Breaking Benjamin will team up on a cover of Downplay’s “Waiting On The Sky To Change” later in July

Okay, this one might break the Internet. Starset and Breaking Benjamin have plenty of similarities, to be honest. They both occupy similar realms of arena rock ambition, they’ve toured together plenty of times, and you can now add a collaboration to their work together as well. In fact, said collaboration is coming at the end of July, in the form of “Waiting On The Sky To Change”.

The song was originally written by Dustin Bates in his former project Downplay, the precursor to Starset that comprises a similar sound to what Starset has become. In fact, the song title was referenced on Starset’s song “Earthrise”, off their most recent album, Horizons. You can listen to the original below, which was released just a few years before Starset’s debut album.
