While it’s hard to describe exactly what category one would put alternative hardcore newcomers Cove into, perhaps that’s just the way they like it. With a new EP in A Conscious Motion dropping March 23rd, and a recently finished tour supporting Feed The Rhino, the band is reaching a large audience very fast, refusing to buckle to any established trends or ideas.
Having recently dropped a new video for standout track “Concide:Collide”, Cove is a band you should be putting on your radar. The 5-piece band is doing some huge things right now, and while comparisons might abound to the likes of Architects and Devil Sold His Soul, that’s some great company to be in. But more than that, the upcoming EP is something that is distinctly Cove – lying somewhere between the furious riffs of metal, the energy of hardcore, and the melodicism and diversity of rock.
