Has a Slipknot album arrived with the level of fanfare (or relative lack thereof, depending on who you ask) as The End, So Far? Releasing a few singles prior to its release, critical responses to the singles were mixed. That’s not to say the band’s new album is bad – it actually has a lot of experimental tilt to it, which is good for a band that’s been around as long as they have. Their final album for Roadrunner Records, it thankfully takes some chances that you wouldn’t expect.
It’ll be interesting to see what diehard fans of the band think of the new record, for sure. The album is out now, and you can stream it below. Let us know your favorite track off the album, while you’re here.
