Popular deathcore band Slaughter To Prevail hail from Yekaterinburg, Russia. It is certainly no small thing for the band to speak out their against the country’s invasion of Ukraine earlier this week. The band did end up making a statement, however, and it’s a fairly simple and universal one (especially considering most people in both countries have decried the invasion).
No to war! Our band has nothing to do with politics, we do not take sides. We are for all peaceful inhabitants of this world and for world peace. We do not accept ANY military action. We wish all of you and your loved ones, relatives and friends to stay safe and hope this nightmare ends as soon as possible.
