Cincinnati’s Come the Dawn are definitely a band to pay attention to. Their second single “Game Over” was released June 24, 2014, and it’s worthy of giving a listen.
Upon listening to the song for the first time, the first few bands I could hear influences from are Linkin Park, Asking Alexandria, and I See Stars. Amongst the rapping bits, djent, and poppy chorus, you have powerful unclean vocals that don’t go unnoticed. Produced and mixed by Caleb Shomo, I was impressed with the mastering as it was all blended in perfectly to make the song worth listening to and not all over the place. Overall, I give this song a 3.5 out of 5.
