2014’s The Night God Slept, the debut full-length from relative newcomers Silent Planet, was surely a powerful metalcore statement album. Having seen the band open the Scream The Prayer tour in 2013, I can personally attest to the band’s passionate live show and thematic stories they’re trying to tell – there is definitely something special here.
Even better, the band is releasing a new album, Everything Is Sound, July 1st – and they’ve got the opening volley ready to go in new single “Panic Room”. The band will be supporting the new album, song, and material on the Vans Warped Tour for a few weeks this summer. Who knows? Maybe they’ll end up getting on the whole tour all summer.
