In a world where oftentimes bands don’t practice what they preach, Silent Planet have always stood up for what’s right, moral, and just in the world. After all, they are a band that tells stories about the human psyche, the disenfranchised and broken among us. Most importantly, Silent Planet engages the listener through these stories, and tend to make you contemplate your life more than anything else.
They’ve also spoken up about the Russian invasion of Ukraine recently, which has dominated news headlines (and will continue to for some time). In doing so, they also showed their support of the JV Ukraine crisis fund, and released a special t-shirt as well. The t-shirt (designed by Rui Carneiro) was released with the intention of delivering all profits directly to Ukrainian refugees, and that’s exactly what Silent Planet did.
good news we wanted to share. thanks to your support, we sold 1147 shirts, raising $13,918.40 in profits – all of which was donated to the JV Ukraine crisis fund, helping Ukrainian refugees (with our friends Lee and Katie on the ground)
still much work to be done

In fact, almost $14k worth of said t-shirt was collected over the last couple weeks, which will no doubt help those who have been affected by the invasion. Talk about using your platform for good.
they have people we know well, doing work on the ground. that’s why we chose them, because we know the money is going to go where it’s supposed to. peacemaking work. also organization has been listed in the product purchase page
