Juanes brought his Origen Tour to Rosemont, IL at the Rosemont Theatre on a cool rainy Friday evening to rock the house down with a career spanning setlist for fans.

With no openers this almost felt like “An Evening With” show with Juanes showing why his career has spanned 30+ years with 20+ Grammy Awards won. From the moment he walked on stage the crowd was incapsulated with every word sang by him. Backed by a phenomenal band who helped gain energy from the crowd while clearly enjoying themselves as well it was all played to a perfection.

At one point too while Juanes walked through the crowd to come half way back into the theatre to perform a song in the aisle of the crowd you’d have thought an A list celebrity was walking by with how the crowd reacted. Swarmed around him in mass Juanes made fans night for sure with how close and intimate the performance was. Just as fans showed love to him, he returned it all back to the fans.

With a setlist with hits from his entire career including artists he has worked with made the 21 song set flow easily. Fans were even treated to his cover of “Enter Sandman” that was featured on Metallicas “The Blacklist” cover album this year.

Clearly showing no signs of stopping or slowing down, fans of Juanes should be checkin out this tour and all future tours as well.
