Senses Fail are certainly one of the vanguards of the early-2000’s post-hardcore scene. While maybe not quite achieving the commercial success of some of their peers, the band have nonetheless managed to carve out a more than respectable career for themselves. Especially considering how many of their peers have gone their separate ways.
The band’s last full-length, If There Is Light…, was released in early 2018 – and the band has been hard at work on new music. Could it be time for a new record from the band? Well, yes!
At the end of August, Senses Fail announced that the band’s upcoming full-length record – the band’s 8th to date – is now done. Notably, that’s not the only exciting news if you’re a big fan of the band.
Record #8 is done. Now on to mixing and mastering.

In fact, it appears that Senses Fail are keeping very busy during quarantine, as vocalist Buddy Nielsen also revealed that new Bayonet music (his hardcore side project that also features Fit For An Autopsy’s Will Putney), acoustic versions of Still Searching and Let It Enfold You, and much more. In other words, there’s a lot to digest.
