Perspectives released their debut album Coalescence on August 18th, the fifth anniversary of their formation as a band. The Rochester nu-core act have put out various singles and one EP throughout the 2020s and now arrive fully formed on their first ever LP. Their music is crushingly heavy, pulling from Slipknot, Sevendust, Cane Hill, and other acts across nu-metal and metalcore, and covering topics like mental illness and self care. Their record release show for Coalescence will be this Saturday August 26th at Water Street Music Hall in Rochester and their other upcoming performances include Hallowfest in late September and a small tour in October.
