Northern California metalcore band Sunspear haven’t exactly been around too long, but don’t let that stop you from checking out the band’s latest single, “Consumer”. Already heralded by CaliberTV as a band with a “brilliant foundation”, Sunspear lie in similar circles as bands like Erra and Invent Animate. High praise, to be sure, but the label fits well enough – Sunspear are good at balancing the heavy with the melodic.
The band’s new song, “Consumer”, fits that mold pretty well. Arguably one of the band’s best tracks to date, the new song is both impressive in its technical execution and exciting in its musical progression. Give it a spin below.
