Rising hard rock band Hollow City releases new single, “Savior”

Hard rock quintet Hollow City has released a new single titled “Savior”. The song comes just three months after their last single “Love Like Heroine” and was produced by Kile O’Dell (Motionless In White, Cover Your Tracks). “Savior was written about people who claim to be on your side, but those same people will the first to turn on you,” vocalist Zackary Yarbrough says.

Hollow City is a four piece hard rock outfit hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. The name captures the band’s message of coming from a place of emptiness and filling the void with their music. Each song takes the listener on a journey with real life situations of sorrow, angst and despair, while maintaining a hopeful message. The group consists of Zackary Yarbrough, Zack Keel, Sacorey Campbell and James Hamann.

After solidifying their sound with multiple trips to the studio with Kile Odell and Joshua Landry in 2017, the band came away with material described as hard rock with a mix of emo influence. Releasing their first single, “Glass Goodbyes” in August of 2018 and shortly after releasing their second single, “Start Living” in September of 2018, the band started creating local and regional demand. With plans of hitting the road in 2019 and releasing new music along the way, there is no stopping the potential of Hollow City.

“Writing these songs was the closure we needed after losing two incredible individuals,” says vocalist Zackary Yarbrough. “From that point on, each song gave us more purpose to continue and make music to cope. It gave us a sense of hope. We hope all of our song can help people cope with these unfortunate situations everyone may go through. If you ever feel lost, used, empty or feel like you can’t move on, I promise you, there is a song for you.”
