A tour that’ll hit the nostalgia button for pretty much everyone, Rise Against has announced a summer tour bringing along fan favorites The Used and Senses Fail along for the ride. Kicking off mid-July and lasting for just over a month, this will see all bands hitting most major markets and cities. Tickets are on sale now.
If you’re wondering why Senses Fail is playing this tour and not their previously announced co-headlining tour with We Came As Romans, it’s due to a multitude of reasons – one, the impending birth of vocalist Buddy Nielsen’s second child, two, the delayed release of their upcoming record, and three, an opportunity to open for Rise Against and The Used this summer. I mean it is one that’s sure to net the band some revenue, sure, but this announcement also left WCAR, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and Counterparts out in the cold (the latter being extremely angry about the loss of income and last-minute cancellation). Needless to say, even many Senses Fail fans were quick to call out the band on socials for the purported bad timing, though there is the matter of always putting your children and family first.
