Rest Aside release their cover of Drowning Pool’s “Tear Away”, with more new music on the way

Hailing from Richmond, Virginia comes a catchy, rhythmic metalcore band known as Rest Aside. Forming in 2019, this four-piece band set out to release their debut song “Burn Away”, quickly after the release of their single the group quickly sought out to release their debut EP of the same name. Rest Aside has a very diverse musical background within its members, and this formulates into a well-rounded metalcore band. The group is currently working on new original material, but in the meantime they released a stellar cover of one of my favorite Drowning Pool songs. Rest Aside have crafted their own unique version of the song “Tear Away” by the aforementioned Drowning Pool. Rest Aside do a fantastic job at capturing the original feel and atmosphere of the song all while adding their own twists in the mix. The Virginia based band has showed no signs of slowing down, not only are they working on new material but they have already released a five track EP this year titled “Calm In Chaos”. The EP stood out to be a milestone showcasing  how far they’ve came in the last few years. We’re excited to see what the band has in store in the near future!
