Photo Review: No Sun, No Moon Tour – Orlando, FL (October 13, 2017)

Our photojournalist Savannah Rowley recently attended the Orlando date of the No Sun, No Moon Tour featuring The Devil Wears Prada, Veil of Maya, Silent Planet, and Thousand Below. The tour is about halfway through, you can get tickets for upcoming dates here.

Thousand Below opened up the show. Originating from San Diego, CA this is only the band’s second tour. Playing songs such as “Never Here” and “Tradition” off of their recently released album The Love You Let Too Close. The band warmed up the crowd for the acts to follow.

Originating from Los Angeles, the band Silent Planet played next. Being Warped Tour veterans they had attracted a pretty good crowd, playing familiar songs such as “Panic Room” and “Native Blood”. The band speaks of issues on today’s society, mostly revolving around their Christian hardcore nature.

Veil of Maya was next, originating from Chicago, IL. With their upcoming album to be released October 20, titled False Idol, the band were very excited to play on this tour and spread word of the upcoming album. Playing songs such as “Overthrow” and “Ellie” they got the crowd hyped for the headlining act.

Lastly, the band the crowd were most hyped to see took the stage, The Devil Wears Prada; who originated from both San Diego and Chicago. With their recently released album Transit Blues the crowd was excited to hear some new songs played live, such as “Daughter” and “Worldwide.”

Overall the show was amazing and action packed, the crowd was interactive and screaming back the lyrics at the bands, it was a very enjoyable night. Be sure to catch the No Sun, No Moon Tour if it’s coming near you!
