Recently our photojournalist Savannah Rowley had the chance to cover the second to last date of the Threesome Tour featuring Bring Me The Horizon and Sleeping With Sirens at The Cuban Club in Tampa, FL. With a stacked line-up, fans lined up for hours in anticipation of the show; and the energy didn’t stop once inside even in the pouring rain!
Sleeping With Sirens are currently touring off of their latest album How It Feels To Be Lost which was released in September 2019 via Sumerian Records. Starting off the set with popular single “Leave It All Behind”, the band continued to play old and new favorites such as “Tally It Up: Settle The Score”, “Kick Me”, “Agree To Disagree” and the title track of the new album. The band have been described as ‘going back to their roots’ with this latest project, and that definitely carried on stage. The energy from the band and fans was a sight to see, bringing a great performance with vocalist Kellin Quinn commanding the stage and the instrumentals powering through the venue.
Bring Me The Horizon kicked the 90-minute set off with lead single “Mantra” from their January 2019 release Amo. Playing other popular songs off the new album such as “Wonderful Life”, “Nihilist Blues” and “Sugar Honey Ice & Tea” with some older favorites “Avalanche”, “Can You Feel My Heart” and “Antivist” where Oli Sykes brought out fans on stage to perform the song. Rain poured throughout the venue as fans chanted back the lyrics and formed circle pits for songs such as the 2013 Sempiternal hit “The House of Wolves” and “Throne”, the popular single released during the 2015 album That’s The Spirit. Many have disputed over the new sound on Amo as well as previous records, but what remains true is the band always having solid performances.
