Tragodia is a metal/hardcore band from the Central Florida area. I first saw them perform at Backbooth a few months ago and I knew I wanted to shoot for them as soon as I could. The band consists of: Dan Placides (Vocals/Songwriter), Nathaniel Dobbins (Lead Guitar/Songwriter), Scott LaFlesh (Guitar), Nick Horan (Bass) and Joshua Newkirk (Drums). They’re very down to earth and have always shown kindness to me as a photographer. The band also has some new music coming out soon, which you can check out below.
Tragodia is currently working on their new EP entitled, “Mirrors of Confusion”. They just released “Sorry…Not Sorry” last week as a sneak peek for what’s to come. It’s a heavy song full of riffs and breakdowns. “Mirrors of Confusion” is going to be a pretty rad album if the aforementioned single is any indication.
I recently went to the My Ticket Home show and was able to shoot Tragodia as they opened up. Be That As It May and Overheat additionally opened along with Tragodia. Here’s my best work from the show.
For updates on their new EP and for shows to come, visit their official Facebook page. Be sure to check out the recent single they just released too.
