Well it seems like HBO Max and DC finally has a hit on their hands, and it comes from a very unexpected character in the DC universe. James Gunn has taken the helm of the Peacemaker TV show, turning it into the most watched and in-demand streaming show, overtaking Disney’s The Book of Boba Fett and Netflix’s The Witcher. Peacemaker stars John Cena, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Storma, and Danielle Brooks. The show takes place right after James Gunn’s movie The Suicide Squad and follows Peacemaker as he readjusts and re-evaluates his life around him. The show is very well done with comedy not often seen in a DC film, comparable to Marvel’s Deadpool in terms of it’s mature content and language. Peacemaker is made for adults so keep that in mind. The show has currently 5 out of 8 episodes released on HBO Max. Go see one of DC’s best projects in recent years.
