Paul Stoddard, the vocalist of Boston metalcore favorites Diecast, has passed away. Stoddard and Diecast emerged alongside their regional cohorts in the early to mid-2000s like Killswitch Engage, and Stoddard released two albums with Diecast in Tearing Down Your Blue Skies and 2006’s Internal Revolution. Both were solid examples of the metalcore movement at the time, and Stoddard’s vocal prowess undoubtedly was a huge part of their success.
