With an EP released back in 2017 and a string of singles being released since then, OVTLIER have achieved some impressive marks for a band their size. Armed with a talented vocalist in Joey Arena, the band has already cornered the XM Octane market, with frequent spins and support in the active rock scene. Yet, the band manages to pull from heavier metal subgenres to an extent as well, making for an accessible sound that has wide-ranging appeal.
Anyway, the band’s new song, “Blame The Dead”, is arguably the band’s heaviest work to date. This single is made more for the moshpit than just singing along. The song premiered last Friday, and it’s already racking big numbers, with 22k Spotify streams in the last 7 days. With that being said, enjoy!
