Heathensun are a relatively new band from North Carolina who have made it very clear that they aren’t afraid to hit the ground running. After releasing albums in 2021 and 2022, they’re back in 2023 with the first single from their upcoming EP that is set to drop in November. “Shellshock” is our first taste of the Nu-Metal Ninjas EP, where the band continues to draw influence from Limp Bizkit and Beastie Boys. The bouncy new track is already making a splash, reaching #46 on the iTunes Top 100 Rock Charts in the USA. The unstoppable nu-metal crew will have the opportunity to test out this new material on the road later this summer, as they’re spending all of August and the first few days of September out on tour.
