Strong – Independence Day Night 1
Tokyo, Japan
July 4th, 2023
Once the silliness ended and it was a legit match this was fine.

A solid opening match that was quicker and delivered. I’ll praise Bad Dude Tito as always.
3 / 5
This was a fun match with some good spots and moments. Would love to know how Kratos got opened up and pouring blood so much though.
3 / 5
A solid match. Some hard hits but you knew the winner from the start.
3 / 5
A lot of good action here and proof that even in Japan, Eddie Kingston is severely over.
3.5 / 5
Willow is poised to be a big star in Japan. This was an enjoyable match with some good action.

Coughlin rules. This had some great action to it and I liked the title change without cheating.
3.5 / 5
I liked a lot of the action here but something just didn’t click right. It had its moments though and Clark Connors is still someone I love to see in NJPW.

Man this had so much more potential. NJPW doesn’t do deathmatches and have never had Kasai in so this was big. This wasn’t really a deathmatch and just more of a hardcore match. It had its moments but never was great really and dragged some.
