While Cardiff City FC is famous for being the only club outside England to win the FA Cup, Nightlives are one of the city’s best-kept secrets, with a blend of EDM, drum ‘n’ bass, and nu-metal influences that proves to be quite engaging.
Case in point, the band’s hectic new single “The Sleepless Club”. Clearly, it’s anything but sleepless, with more nu-metal vibes than you can shake a stick at. Yet, there’s also a good amount of pop sensibility and stuttering, bouncy electronics as well, making for an eclectic listen. Needless to say, it comes with our highest recommendation. It’s quite a lot of fun.
