Brand new metalcore band May We Meet Again have just released their first ever single, “Lost In Time”, along with a music video. “We’re a metalcore band with influences in pop, pop-punk, hardcore, deathcore, and everything in between,” says drummer Tay Manesis. “We try to take bits of every genre, whatever speaks to us as musicians, and combine them into something we feel is very special. Our goal is to create meaningful music about situations we’ve been through to bring hope to those who may feel hopeless going through those same situations.”
Even with this song being their debut, it’s clear that the band already have a grasp on how to marry the brutal and the beautiful, a trait they share with many modern metalcore greats like Bring Me The Horizon and Invent Animate. The New England three-piece will drop a 5-track EP in May, with this single serving as the first taste of what’s to come.
