New emo supergroup alltheprettythings release third single “I Want You Back”

When members of multiple beloved bands come together, the hope is that they will take their years of experience honing their craft in those other groups and coalesce in the new project to deliver something different. This is the case with Wilmington, North Carolina-based band alltheprettythings. Their lineup consists of Jeremy Bryan (drummer of Alesana), Tristan Matthew (touring member of Chiodos), Worth Weaver (touring member of He Is Legend), Logan Tabor, and recently added Will Sowers (original bassist of Emarosa). The members of alltheprettythings have a rich history of creating and playing some undeniable post-hardcore and metalcore classics, and this project presents them with the opportunity to flex new muscles.

Their third single “I Want You Back” was recently released along with the announcement of Will Sowers joining. The vocal delivery and anthemic nature of the track, particularly in the chorus, evoke The Black Parade era My Chemical Romance, and alltheprettythings draw inspiration from other iconic acts like Saosin and 30 Seconds to Mars as well as modern greats Palaye Royale. Guitarist Tristan Matthew says, “We are incredibly excited to release ‘I Want You Back’ and to have Will Sowers join us on this journey. This song represents a new chapter for alltheprettythings, and we can’t wait to share it with our fans. We’re thrilled to have Will’s energy and skill contribute to our sound, and we believe this collaboration will take our music to new heights.”
