Motionless In White’s ‘Scoring The End Of The World’ vaults back into the Billboard 200, thanks to a vinyl release

After it debuted at a staggering #12 on the Billboard 200 upon its June 2022 release, Motionless In White proved that they were indeed able to find a balance between their more radio-friendly hard rock influences, and the industrial + metalcore influences that helped launch their career with Creatures. With the likes of Mick Gordon, Caleb Shomo, and Knocked Loose’s Bryan Garris featuring on the record, it’s not a surprise it was so successful. Currently playing the biggest venues they ever have on their current headlining tour, one wonders just how much bigger they can get.

It seems the new Deluxe Edition of STEOTW as well as its release on vinyl had a very positive effect, though. In fact, it enabled the album to re-chart on the Billboard 200 at #182. It’s pretty rare a (relatively) newer rock or metal band even re-enters the Billboard charts after its first few weeks of release, so this is a pretty big deal. The Deluxe Edition also features a few new songs, including “Fool’s Gold”, which might well turn out to be a huge hit for Motionless In White.
