Motionless In White’s massive hit “Masterpiece” has finally reached #1 on the Active Rock charts

Everything has been coming up Millhouse for Motionless In White lately. Since the release of their 2010 album Creatures, MIW have steadily been gaining a massive fanbase all across the world, with their last few albums having even more crossover appeal. You probably don’t need a stat recap or anything like that, but suffice it to say the band’s balance between melodic songs and heavier tracks has worked wonders for them.

While the song has already reached as high as #3 as of a couple weeks ago, it’s clear that their song “Masterpiece” is likely to become arguably the biggest MIW song to date. It’s accessible and has a huge chorus, so it definitely makes sense.

The song has now reached #1 on the Active Rock charts, which means it’s the #1 song on the popular rock radio format. Another song from the album will also feature in NHL 23’s soundtrack, which is very impressive. Much of the success is due to the dedication of their fanbase, who have been requesting the song at radio to get them to this point. It’s also a huge song in its own right.
