Two of Sharptone Records’ flagship and veteran bands, Miss May I and We Came As Romans have been hard at work recording new music. While WCAR dropped two singles in September of last year (“Carry The Weight” and “From The First Note”), Miss May I released their 6th album, Shadows Inside, all the way back in 2017. Luckily, it appears both bands have music on the horizon, and sooner than you might think as well.
Notably, the news that both bands (and Don Broco as well) are in the studio recording new music is a welcome sight for metalcore fans’ ears. We Came As Romans’ David Puckett has even teased snippets of new music online, which you can hear below.

It’ll be particularly interesting to hear what We Came As Romans have up their sleeves. After all, 2017’s Cold Like War showed off some of the band’s most inspired songwriting to date – especially on the electronic and drum n’ bass influenced “Encoder”, which still fits at a rave just as well as it does the moshpit.
