A song synonymous with New York Yankees legendary closer Mariano Rivera, Metallica’s “Enter Sandman”, by many statistics, is one of the most popular hard rock // metal songs of all time. In fact, it might be the most recognizable for a multitude of reasons. It’s the most popular song from arguably the most popular metal album of all time, where metal truly hit the mainstream on their Black Album. What more really needs to be said?

Anyway, the song also just reached a major milestone, reaching one BILLION streams on Spotify. Obviously, that’s a huge accomplishment that very few rock and metal bands have achieved. Keep in mind, though, that Metallica also were one of the most prominent bands to not be on streaming services, though obviously not taking as long as a band like Tool, for instance. In any case, pretty awesome.
