Denver metalcore newcomers Common Rule have premiered a new video for “Realworld”. Forming just a couple years ago and with an EP and a few singles to their name, Common Rule hit hard, in the vein of bands like Kublai Khan. If you like moshing and fight riffs, this is the band for you.
About the new song, the band had this to say: “Connor chose to write about straying away from the norms of society, “common rule” and expectations that most humans face (going to college, working a 9-5, ect…) . The real world is not what we have created with technology, but what is here in nature.
The second part of REALWORLD speaks about accountability. There is no room for abusers of any kind in this world, and those who have chosen to do so must be held accountable. One in six have had their innocence stripped from them, and we must come together to change that at all costs.”
