Martyr For Madison might not be a household name in the (overcrowded) emo / post-hardcore world just yet, but their latest release “Heliocentric” [premiering below!] is proof positive that they should be…and probably will be! The Michigan based quartet has spent the last few years crafting a refreshingly earnest blend of influences that might remind you of classics like Silverstein, Taking Back Sunday, and Funeral For A Friend mixed with a modern sensibility. There are moments of heaviness punctuated by soaring vocals and some uniquely progressive songwriting – you’ll need to listen to “Heliocentric” a few times to catch all the nuance, but that ain’t such a bad thing now is it?
Enjoy the world premiere of “Heliocentric” right here at The New Fury – streaming EVERYWHERE May 7th!
