It’s been a pretty bad last few weeks for Machine Gun Kelly. Last weekend, he drew the ire of Slipknot fans by making fun of the band for wearing masks, which quite possibly contributed to what happened over this weekend at Louder Than Life Festival.

On Saturday night, MGK was booed by a huge crowd of people – no doubt fueled by the fact that the festival mostly consisted of rock and metal fans who didn’t take kindly to his words. He also managed to get into an altercation with a fan, though it appears said fan made the first move.

One wonders at this point what genre of music MGK will turn to next, as while he’s been massively successful with his shift to pop-punk (Tickets To My Downfall is a Gold record, after all), rock and metal fans won’t soon forget what he had to say about Slipknot.
