Lorna Shore’s “To The Hellfire” infiltrates pop culture – this time it was played at a Detroit Red Wings game

It’s been a whirlwind 12 months for Lorna Shore. After unveiling new vocalist Will Ramos, the band released the viral single “To The Hellfire” soon after – and it’s reaching an audience the band probably never could have imagined. On Spotify alone, the song is closing in on 13 million streams, which is awfully good for any band – but especially a band playing any kind of extreme metal. In fact, it’s notably just over 6 minutes long, so it’s not just cheap streams the band is racking up, it’s dedicated followers.

But wait, there’s more! If you didn’t think the song could get any better, it was recently played at a Detroit Red Wings NHL game. That’s right, now hockey fans are getting exposed to Lorna Shore. Kinda insane if you ask us. With the band prepping a new album for release this year, it’ll be interesting to see if they can create something with this kind of rabid (and rapid) popularity.
